Art and imagination at Para Élan - Sab Ka Maidan

Para Élan is a three-year Indo-French initiative launched in April 2026 to reach more than 10,000 students across India through French-language learning, para-sports education and global citizenship. Its flagship Delhi event, Para Élan-Sab Ka Maidan, held on August 7, 2026, at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, brought together 10 schools to explore inclusion, resilience, equality and excellence through sport.As part of the event, The Junior Age hosted an art competition for around 300 students in Grades 7 to 9. Students chose from three themes: Design A Paralympic Mascot, Design A Paralympic Medal for India and France and Design Your Dream Sports Jersey. Each theme gave them a chance to express their ideas while engaging with para-sports, inclusion and the India-France connection.From bold mascots and India-France-inspired medals to imaginative sports jerseys, the artworks reflect how these young artists interpreted sport, ability and inclusion.
