Para Élan is a three-year Indo-French initiative launched in April 2026 to reach more than 10,000 students across India through French-language learning, para-sports education and global citizenship. Its flagship launch in Delhi, the Para Élan - Sab Ka Maidan, held on August 7, 2026, at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, New Delhi, brought together students from 10 schools to explore inclusion, resilience, equality and excellence through sport. As part of the event, The Junior Age hosted a creative writing competition for around 300 students in Grades 7 to 9, encouraging them to look beyond medals and victories and reflect on inclusion, determination, courage and resilience.Students chose from three topics: Different Abilities, Same Dreams, A Champion Is Someone Who Never Gives Up, and A Medal Is Not Made of Gold Alone.  Read the winning entries and discover how these young writers captured the spirit of para-sports through their words.
