India’s Maiden Mission To Venus

The Indian Space Research Organisation is preparing for its first mission to Venus, known as the Venus Orbiter Mission (“VOM”) or Shukrayaan-1. The Indian space agency has announced that the spacecraft will take a total of 112 days to travel to Venus and is scheduled to launch in March, 2028.

Shukrayaan-1 will mark India’s first foray into exploring the planet. The orbiter is expected to reach its destination in July, 2028. VOM will study the atmosphere, surface, and geological features of Venus using many sophisticated scientific instruments.

On October 9, 2024, Ratan Tata passed away, at the age of 86, due to age related health issues in Mumbai. He was one of the most well-known businessmen in India. He was the former Chairman and the Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group. He was the most influential industrialist in the country and has left behind a legacy that has significantly shaped the landscape of Indian industry. Who Was Ratan Tata?

Ratan Tata was born on December 28, 1937, in Navsari, Gujarat to Soonoo and Naval Tata. However, he was brought up by his grand-mother Navajbai R Tata. He was born in a prominent and rich family. His great-grandfather was Jamsetji Tata, the founder of the Tata Group.

After attending school in Bombay, Ratan Tata finished high school in New York City in 1955. He then studied at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, where he earned a B.S. (1962) in architecture before returning to India to work.

Ratan Tata served as the chairman of Tata Sons from 1991 to 2012 and 2016-2017. Under his leadership, the Tata Group expanded globally and diversified its business interests. Materials Needed to Make Ravana:

– Blue A3 sheet
– Poster colors (Black, Red, White)
– Black A4 glitter sheet
– Peach pencil color
– Red A4 sheet
– Fevistick
– Pencil
– Eraser

Step-by-Step Instructions:


1. Take the blue A3 sheet and draw a head-like structure. Cut it out and shade it with peach pencil color.

2. Draw eyes, eyebrows, a long mustache, mouth, and nose using the following colors:
    – Eyes, eyebrows, and mustache: Black
    – Mouth outline and tika: Red
    – Sclera of eyes and inside of mouth: White

3. Cut out a crown structure from the black glitter paper and stick it on the forehead.

4. Cut a small dot (Bindi) from the red paper and stick it on top of the crown.
