On 5 February 2026, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, popularly known as RCB, lifted their second Women’s Premier League trophy, proving their growing dominance in the league. Led by India star Smriti Mandhana, the team showed calm under pressure and remarkable teamwork.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Delhi Capitals by six wickets in the 2026 Women’s Premier League final held at the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium in Vadodara. Delhi posted a formidable 203 for 4 in 20 overs, setting up one of the biggest challenges ever seen in a WPL final. RCB responded with fearless batting, chasing down 204 for 4 in just 19.4 overs, completing the highest successful run chase in WPL final history.
Captain Smriti Mandhana smashed 87 off 41 balls, while Georgia Voll added 79, and together they built a stunning 165-run partnership that shifted the match decisively. Mandhana was named Player of the Match for her match-winning performance. With eight runs needed from four balls, Radha Yadav struck consecutive boundaries to seal the victory and spark celebrations.

A milestone victory for RCB
This win marks RCB’s second Women’s Premier League title, drawing them level with the most successful teams in the competition. Notably, it was also the second time Bengaluru defeated Delhi in a WPL final, the first being in 2024.
