India dominated the 24th Asian Archery Championships held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Finishing as the top nation in the competition, India bagged 10 medals – 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze, across recurve and compound categories, marking the highest ever haul for the country at this event. Standout individual performances included Ankita Bhakat and Dhiraj Bommadevara clinching historic gold medals in women’s and men’s individual recurve events respectively. The performances also help India prepare confidently for upcoming world events, including Olympic qualifiers and world championships.
