The countdown has begun for one of the biggest events in women’s cricket. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will bring together the world’s top teams for nearly a month of exciting matches across England. Fans can look forward to fierce rivalries, thrilling contests, and a chance to see the best players in the world compete for cricket’s biggest T20 prize. The tournament will run from 12 June to 5 July 2026, featuring 33 matches, 12 teams, and some of England’s most famous cricket grounds.
Hosts England women’s cricket team will face Sri Lanka women’s cricket team in the opening match on 12 June at Edgbaston. One of the most anticipated matches of the tournament will take place on 14 June, when arch-rivals India women’s cricket team and Pakistan women’s cricket team meet at Edgbaston.
Defending champions New Zealand women’s cricket team will begin their title defence against the West Indies women’s cricket team, while Australia women’s cricket team take on South Africa women’s cricket team in another blockbuster early fixture.
