India has officially announced its squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Harmanpreet Kaur named as captain. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the 15-member team for the global tournament, which will be held in England from June 12 to July 5, 2026. The squad features top players such as Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues, along with all-rounder Deepti Sharma. Wicketkeepers Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia have also been included. The team combines experienced players with emerging talent, giving India a strong and balanced squad for the tournament.
